All about the new addition
I just have to say that yesterday was so abolutley wonderful. I was so happy to see everyone! I didn't have a gift for Donnie which I felt bad about but I'm glad he came. Everyone looked great too! I was so happy Matt came too since I never see him!
I got so much stuff and everyone seemed really happy with their gifts from us too. I ran out of money at the end there so I was worried some people wouldn't like what they got. Jim went way overboard! That Rotisserie would have been perfect for a joint gift but you went and got Greg something too. You're so wonderful! Someday I'll be able to spoil my brothers too.
I have to say though that yesterday was about little Jacob. The most adorable new addition to the McDonald family. I wish I had a picture to post. Greg took to him like glue! I can't wait until we can have one of our own but I know it will be no time at all.
Christmas day consisted of relaxation and Christmas eve was spent with Greg's parents.
Next up on the agenda...take care of dad. I'm getting nervous already for his op but I know he'll be fine. I'm fortunate my boss is ok with the leave I'll need. I need to find out specifics from the doctors and to know when he will be home so I can plan ahead.
Happy Tuesday! Theres a whole 363 days till Christmas 2006! I can't believe its over all ready!

I have to admit, it was so cute to see Greg and Jakob interacting. They liked each other a lot! Greg was a total natural with the baby.
"no time at all" or "no time soon"?? Either is acceptable, mind you.
I had fun at your place! Loved it! Nice to see Emmi and to meet Maverick, too. I know you'll teach him to be a "good boy" in due time.

Awww thanks Dan! Mom said the same thing about Greg.
I had so much fun seeing everyone! I'm glad you guys got to come over and see my house too. We need to meet up more often! I'm bringing my new book I got to dads so I have something to do. I can't wait to read it! Thank you guys again!
Our little cousin, Don (or Donnie as we've known him) was drinking rum and coke the entire time. I think he had a little too much fun there too. ;)
