I'm way too nice for words

I worked at Whitehall last night and sat with a couple looking at an upgrade to a wedding ring. It was $3500. They decided they needed some time to think about it so they left. Well...about a half an hour later they come back while I'm working with a window shopper who only wants to look at things and not buy so a co-worker took the couple. When I'm done showing the lady a fifth bracelet she wasn't going to buy, I ran over to the couple (I hate when others do this but I just had to, it was my sale) and I said "So, you guys decided to come back, do you think you'll get this ring?" Bree (another girl I work with) said, Oh Karri were you working with them? Um...yeah honey, you saw me don't you dare take it.

I honestly have to say I cringe when I see others doing it but the fact is we all have a goal to meet by the end of the year and I was no where near it. Comission? Not much. We get 1%, if that. So thats not the issue. I ended up giving her half of the sale. Later on in the night I took a $500 sale and gave half of it to Rita. She hadn't sold anything and didn't want to look bad so she asked if I could. I can't say no...but of course I love Rita so thats just cause.

The way I look at it, I have a full time job and this is my extra money. For them, this IS they're full time job so I'm willing to help. I just hate when people walk all over me just because I'm nice though. Hmmph.

I'm just complaining now but needless to say, I did well last night.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

I laugh when I think of this....Emmi decides to greet me at the door after my first job, wagging her furry little tail and hanging her tongue out of the side of her mouth.........with a pillow attached to her collar!!! HAHAHAHAHA

What a silly girl. I have no idea how that happened but she couldn't care less. All she wanted was this floppy annoying thing out of her way so she could eat!

*sigh* I love her. She's such a cutie. Dogs are wonderful creatures!
