Just a side note.
Lately I've been trying harder than I did before with trying to keep in touch with friends. I try to send an email or something and then they don't write back. I don't understand it. Then I start thinking to myself, What did I do? Are they mad at me? Did I do something wrong? It's usually just that they're busy but I do worry about those things. I wish I wouldn't. I guess its because I havent talked to them in awhile and I would like to. I think I hold onto things to much.

I doubt anyone is mad at you. It's nice to keep up with old friends, but it's not everything. Having close friends in your life now, and nurturing those friendships and making new friends is the most important thing. It's also a lot of effort, especially when you have a busy schedule--so you gotta make time for people you care about and make them a priority in your life. At least, IMHO. ;)

Yeah, I dwell on the past sometimes and like to get in touch with old friends too. I know a few friends I have now try hard to stay in touch with me so I need to return the favor. I guess I should just forget about the old ones but its hard to. They still mean a lot to me.

You're a very thoughtful person, Karri. You're very good at keeping up with people and have a genuine interest in their lives. Some of us, however, can't keep our own lives in any kind of managable order. I think about you and others a lot more than my communication would indicate. Just keep in mind that a lack of a response rarely has anything to do with you. People have a tendancy to get wrapped up in their own worlds, some more than others. You just keep being you and don't waste a minute wondering if you've done something wrong. You're a sweetheart!
