Unbelieveable - Dad was right!
It's been hard eating better and not eating the things we've been use to so I allowed for a Sat. cheat day. Last week we had something bad on Friday but I want this to be a weekly thing and eventually we may not want it as much. But, we went shopping yesterday and got a steak and cheese sub with fries. Then we bought girl scout cookies (bad idea because they last more than a day) and snacked on those for dinner pretty much. That might have been a bit too much of a cheat but I got up today to see the damage and I'm still down to 227!! I did have a few cookies today but I'm bringing the rest to work so I don't finish them.
I biked for 33 mins and we went for a 22 min. mile walk with the pups. Today starts the week fresh. Dad always use to tell me when he lost his 70lbs, the reason why it worked is because he allowed for a day to eat what he's been craving (as long as it isn't too overboard). It tricks your body when you do that. If you eat less for a while, you're body will plateau but if you trick it and eat high calories every so often, it continues to do it's magic.
I do feel guilty but I'm glad the weight didn't all come back.

Be careful of that 'Dad' logic.

Hahaha, thanks mom. I know you warned me. I think I'll still allow myself some things I crave without going overboard. Thats the only way I know I'll stick with it.
